Poor us!

I found out just about a week ago that we (I guess) are poor or at least look poor. There is a person in my family that thinks what you wear makes you look poor. What that person doesn't understand is that cash doesn't make you poor, having more then one card does. I'm not broke, nor in debt, nor am I having a hard time paying my bills, does that make us poor? We may not buy clothes from "old Navy" or whatever, but my children are always clean, well behaved, and very loved. What this person needs is tact, she is poor in the since of understanding. What you wear and have doesn't make you rich, it's the love and family, which she is losing very fast. She'll be alone, poor, without anything but her nice shoes very soon. It's very sad, I feel very sad for this poor girl.

I'm sending the shoes back for the reason the were sent.

Passive,
Elizabeth:)

Oh calm down, nothing like that was said or thought, use your zen and calm down, your sister loves you. Those shoes just did not go with the outfit.

You are about as far off about this as you can be.

I don't think so, I got my feelings hurt, in my eyes I didn't.

Mother told me, Joanne said "those shoes make Sophia look "poor" and make her look like "trash". It's real nice of the both of you for being mad at me for something you said. I keep all my thoughts to myself about your life/child, pergaps you should be "zen" and do the same. We all have our thoughts, but I'm the only one with tact.

Talk to mom about telling me that, and say sorry if you said it. I'm not wrong for getting my feelings hurt.

I am not mad at you, I don't know where you got that. I just told you to clam down, you kinda went on a rant that was not called for because what you heard didn't come from Joanne. If you have thoughts on our life and our child I would like to hear them, if you think Sylvia's clothes don't look cute, I would like to hear it. It is not going to bother me I would just not put those clothes on her again.
I used the "zen" saying because you are always talking about being calm and open to ideas and thoughts but this time you kinda threw it out the window.
I(we) love sophia and mason, so we also love buying gifts for them. Be happy there is nothing to be mad about.
